Course Description: (2 Hours Credit) The FIRST SECTION will explain the importance of play towards the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of children at all stages of childhood. The focus of the SECOND SECTION is on the identification of the different types of play that children engage in to help them make meaning of the world. The THIRD SECTION will demonstrate how child care providers can engage children through play, games, and interactions with other children and adults.
